Basefiller leather filler is a high-performance leather filler designed to fill fine to coarse cracks on car seats, furniture, clothing and shoes.

It can also be used to smooth other leather fillers. Its thin viscosity provides an extremely durable and flexible repair.

Basefiller can also be used to create texture on putty surfaces with a sponge, we call it the "dub method". Once the putty has dried, the peaks are sanded to blend into the surface.

Instructions

1. Make sure the area you want to fill is thoroughly cleaned with Easy Prep.

2. Sand the area you intend to fill with sandpaper with a grit of 280-500.

3. Spread/apply the leather putty smoothly in thin, light layers with a palette knife or you can massage the putty in with your hand. Dry with a hairdryer for about 3-5 minutes.

4. Intermediate sanding with sandpaper 1000-1200. When it dries, the filler can sink a little, so you usually need to apply additional layers of leather filler.
